Why the foundation

Though we lost Robert young, he left behind an inspiring and extensive body of work. The Harkness Arts Foundation was formed to share his artwork with the world, and through the funds raised, support other aspiring artists who also seek to make a positive impact through their craft. As a charitable organization, all sales go directly towards the financial support of artists and public artworks.

Grants are offered to help artists with limited resources cover costs such as art supplies/equipment, gallery show preparation, framing, mural installation, and works of public art. Each year, the board will review requests for support and vote on which projects / artists to support through a financial grant.

Grants

Art is a calling; one which enriches not only the artist, but also everyone who engages with the finished product.
